The Cape Verdean climate is one of the mildest of all Western African nations, thanks to the position of the island. This makes temperatures more than pleasant all year round, with average highs hitting around 29 degrees from May to November and lows hitting 19 degrees in an average night. Summer temperatures on some islands can prove fairly humid, though never incredibly uncomfortable, and the rainy season doesn’t tend to rain that much – unfortunately causing droughts.
